Camping- Are You Ready For It?

We're all waiting with bated breath to hear that we can resume doing many of the things we enjoy. Camping and outdoor cooking are high on many people's to-do lists. The time has come for us to return to it.

Are you prepared?

Because we are the experts in outdoor cooking, we thought we'd compile a list of awesome portable cooking gear for the campsite or backyard. If you are unfamiliar with any of these camp cooking favourites, now is a good time to get some practice in before we return to the real thing.

Auspit

We are very proud of ‘the little Aussie legend’.

A full-featured spit that cantilevers off a single upright pole next to the fire, swings away for carving and comes with great accessories such as grills and the spitmate for tumbling spuds, nuts, and other foods. Auspit can be transported and stored in a small carry bag.

Camping Spits

Do you need to cook more food? Our portable camping spits are made to spit roast over a campfire for a large group. The Camping Spits are ideal for cooking for a larger group because they come with height adjustable heavy duty stands, a 30kg motor (or upgrade to a 60kg motor), and a stainless-steel skewer.

Winnerwell Cooker Camping Stoves

These stoves were recently added to the range. They are light, portable, and easy to transport and store. These stoves are a great way to upgrade the campfire because they have flues to keep the smoke away from the camp, removable stovetops, and quality stainless steel or titanium construction.

Portable grills and smokers

Two of our favourite manufacturers have recently released great portable options for our favourite cooking methods.

The Oklahoma Joe Rambler Table Top Grill is ideal for small cooks at home or for taking with you on your next trip for charcoal grilling.

The Traeger Ranger Portable Smoker is the size of a large briefcase and allows you to prepare wood-fired meals. This means you can smoke food as if you were at home - even if you aren't.
