It's a quick, simple, and delicious dish to make.

Salt & Vinegar Chicken Wings

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cooking time: 45 to 60 minutes

Begin with one or two kilos of wings that have been washed and patted dry with a paper towel. The Spitmate junior roasting basket used in this post is capable of holding up to 3kg of wings.

Coat lightly with oil and mix thoroughly. Any oil will do, but we prefer the flavour of olive oil.

Insert the wings into the Auspit Spitmate and secure them to the skewer with the wing nut.

Roast for 45 minutes to an hour over hot coals, allowing the Spitmate and hot coals to work their magic.

When the wings are golden brown, use heatproof gloves to remove the Spitmate from the skewer. The Spitmate, like all Auspit accessories, is made of 304 grade stainless steel and is easy to clean.

Place the wings in a mixing bowl and lightly coat with the Kosmos Q Salt and Vinegar Wing Dust. Mix well. Coat one more time for a stronger flavour. Kosmos Q Wing Dust is a fantastic product that comes in four delectable flavours: Salt & Vinegar, Kickin Cajun, Honey BBQ, and Buffalo Hot.

Serve with your preferred dipping sauce and enjoy!
